Meet the TEAM ITS, LLC Team

Being an IT Consultant since the 80’s, Mike Miller, President, continues to have a vision of offering enterprise class technology solutions to small-medium businesses in central Illinois. From the beginning, being a small business also, Mike needed the same technology that big businesses used to be efficient, productive, and protected on a small business budget. He has always been passionate about solving difficult technical and business challenges and found products, technologies, and solutions that the big businesses were using without needing an entire IT Dept to manage and run them. As workers now use technology “from anywhere on any device” in the workplace, that has become a standard part of our world, and the risk goes up along with it. TEAM ITS is there, setting the bar, to guide and provide you with that same big business technology that you need to be efficient, productive, and protected in your business. Mike’s role as vCIO to customers is to provide the roadmap with technology solutions that address customer pain points, hardware refresh planning, improve efficiencies, minimize production downtime, and architect the right onsite and offsite disaster recovery mechanisms to protect against natural disasters such as fire, tornado, water damage as well as a hardware failure or ransomware attacks.

Eric has a degree in Network Administration, as well as a second in Computer Programming. Eric is responsible for technical backend setup and automation. He is an expert in enterprise class technology and is responsible for keeping our scheduled project work on track. Eric is responsible for orchestrating and automating the stack of tools and resources we use for client onboarding, Server upgrades, Physical to Virtual Server conversions, remote access and remote desktop deployments, conversions to Office 365 Cloud. Eric also provides Tier 3 Escalation Support to our Tier 1 and Tier 2 Techs and is a seasoned well-equipped problem solver.

Gary is another important member of our TEAM. He comes to us with 11 years in the IT Consulting field and many certifications including CompTIA A+, CWNP Certified Wireless Technology Specialist, TestOut PC Pro Certification and the ink is still wet on his latest accomplishments; becoming a Kaseya Certified Administrator. He is responsible for deploying and automating our managed services offerings to our clients. Gary graduated from Ivy Tech with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. Gary works closely with Mike to engage new and existing clients and is responsible for implementing the technology on the roadmap and the timelines provided by the vCIO recommendations and makes sure that the technology on the roadmap continues to align with the customer’s needs and budget. Gary also coordinates tier 1 and tier 2 tech support services, and the onsite technical support team, onboarding new clients and facilitating new technology installations. Gary loves spending time with his family and enjoys gaming in his free time. Gary is a tech enthusiast and loves to keep up with the latest technology trends.

JD brings a wide range of IT talents to our TEAM, JD is on our Tier 2 support team. JD is one of the friendly faces you will see handling onsite hardware installations and support, deploying and monitoring disaster recovery backups and networking infrastructure support and assisting our cabling team with network config. His passion is hardware and networking technology, and he takes great pride in knowing he can create an infrastructure from the ground up. JD has experience with web design and has first-hand experience at being an e-commerce web store manager. JD enjoys travel and seeing new places, hiking, gaming, and is a dog lover. JD graduated from Olney Central College with an Associate of Science: Information Systems Technology.

Harry is a graduate from Ivy Tech with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Information Support. He is responsible for Tier 2 Tech Support services and escalation support for our Tier 1 team. Harry is responsible for firewall and Wi-Fi configuration and support, as well as video security surveillance setup and support. Harry also handles day-to-day onsite and remote tech support calls relating to any of the technology the customer may have in use. Harry enjoys the diversity of working with lots of different kinds of technology every day. Harry is a D&D enthusiast loves spending time with his kids and family.

Austin is the newest member to the tech support TEAM. He is a graduate from Lincoln Trail College and has an associate degree in broadband telecommunications in applied science. He helps maintain and manage customer disaster recovery backups, handles Tier 1 remote tech support calls, and goes on site for service calls when remote support is not suitable to address the issue. Austin really enjoys the challenge of lots of different kinds of technology both internally at TEAM ITS and by the wide variety of tech support calls that he resolves daily. Austin is a technology enthusiast outside of work as well and enjoys gaming and helping family and friends with their computer and tech problems too.

Chris came to TEAM ITS with 25 years office management experience and her responsibilities include Accounts Receivable, Payables, Invoicing and Statements, as well as overseeing accounting functions. Chris works with coordinating scheduling of onsite service calls and customer support. Chris is a native of Neoga and likes spending time with friends and family.

Doug, dedicated to his Lawn Care and landscaping business since the 80's and 25 year career at Total Printing Systems, Inc, came to TEAM ITS in 2020 originally as an installation contractor providing installation support for our cabling division that provides network cabling, building to building connectivity, server racks, Wi-Fi access points, 4G amplifiers/Routers, Starlink Satellite Internet installs, as well as security camera and access control solutions. As the division grew rapidly it became clear that Doug, with his strong focus on detail, mechanical skills, and quality of work was a great fit to head the Infrastructure and Cabling Division. Doug works closely with our technical team architecting the mechanics of difficult network cabling runs in existing and new buildings to place Wi-Fi access points, office network jacks, mounting outdoor equipment, and handing off completed installations to our technical team to put into production. Doug tests and qualifies all network connections and labels the cable runs according to industry standards. Doug is a jack of all trades and even does some carpentry work for some of our customers because they love his quality of work. Doug really enjoys his job and is fascinated with all the technology he now gets to work with. Doug loves everything outdoors, jet skiing, traveling to new places, is an animal lover and enjoys maintaining his coy pond and variety of colorful coy fish.
